Meet Uziyah

Uziyah (nicknamed Uzi) is a miraculous presence who brought light into the world. Born August 13th, 2011, he is the embodiment of love. If he ever saw you down, he'd do everything in his power to make you smile and ease your pain — if only for a moment.

Uziyah loves Spider-Man — saying Spider-Man was a hero he could be: an average kid who defied all odds to help others. He wanted to be a YouTuber and a cop when he grew up — both rooted in helping people.

He also loved basketball, running, and anything that let him move. We called him the Energizer Bunny — because he just kept going and going and going.

Uziyah was fascinated by video games — especially Gorilla Tag on his Oculus and Fortnite on his Switch. He was joy. He was energy. His presence was a gift to anyone lucky enough to feel it.

Uziyah will forever be loved, cherished, and missed. Through his name, we carry his courage, his love, and his will to help others. Because that’s who he was — a hero in every sense of the word.
